Now that the main development phase is complete, we encourage your firm to move to the latest build of Actionstep, known internally as ‘Early Adopter (EA)’. The EA build platform is no longer just for early adopters - it's super reliable, has the most recent updates, user interface improvements, and more.

Everything looks crisper and easier to see. Corners are slightly rounded and fonts are changed to make the whole thing more presentable, faster to navigate and easier to understand. Some of the new design features include but are not limited to:

We have also reduced the number of settings required to be set in Acionstpe by pre-setting them based on your business type and region.


Improved data import tool

Effortless importing of data into Actionstep. New processes guide you through an import making it easier to setup and use. Thee are new import options such as unbilled time and open invoices and every import can be rolled back at the touch of a button giving users peace of mind.


Early adopter function for new features

All new features that Actionstep release will be made available fo users to opt-in as an early adopter, letting you see and evaluate features and them switch them off again if you don’t want to use them just yet.


Banking upgrade

More modern, interactive layout and graphical displays. Access the same information but with new navigation and improved visuals.


Matter type converter

The ability to setup your system so that a matter of one type can be converted into a matter of a new type. Ensure you don’t lose any notes, documents or emails while converting your matters.


Phone call recorder

A new type of item that can be created in Actionstep to record your phone conversations. Easily create new records to keep accurate data on your phone interactions.


Improved deposit slips

A new, simpler way to create deposit slips within Actionstep. Choose which deposits should be included as you create te deposit slip in the system.


2-step authentication

Add extra security to your system. Almost all software packages weakest point of security is how you login to access it. With Actionstep’s 2-step authentication a user needs more than just your username and password to be able to access your account. With a simple app on your phone you can protect you and your clients data securely.

Custom external reporting

The ability to be able to create your own external reports and dashboards based on the information within your Actionstep. This allows you to export all the important information from your Actionstep to your own server so that you can build and run your own customised reports and dashboards.

If your firm is not ready to start using the new EBM features yet, you can still switch over to EA and just turn on EBM when you’re ready.
