Updated consolidated Consolidated admin screens help make it easier to find the settings you want to updateand customizations that your firm needs. With helpful new layouts and explanations built into the system you can understand the options you are presented with, you won't find yourself wondering what a setting is or whether to populate a field. We have also reduced the number of settings required to be set in Acionstpe streamlined the system configuration process by pre-setting them settings based on your business type and region.

Effortless importing of data into Actionstep. New processes guide you through an import making it easier to setup and use. Thee We have streamlined the process of importing in Actionstep. Our new tool offers increased flexibility when mapping fields. There are new import options such as unbilled time and open invoices and every import can be rolled back at the touch of a button giving users peace of mind. (work in progress) and accounts receivable. If you do need to reprocess your import, you can roll it back quickly and easily.

Matter type converter
The ability to setup your system so that a matter of one type can be converted into a matter of a new Our new matter type converter allows users to convert an existing matter to a different matter type. Ensure you don’t lose any notes, documents, or emails while converting your matters.
Phone call recorder
A new type of item that can be created in Actionstep to record your phone conversations. Easily create new records to keep accurate data on your phone interactions. Track your phone calls quickly and easily! You can easily track digital and phone conversations in our new "comms" tab.
Improved deposit slips
A new, simpler way to create deposit slips within Actionstep. Choose which deposits should be included as you create te deposit slip in the system. and which should be omitted.
2-step authentication
Add extra security to your system. Almost all software packages weakest point of security is how you login to access itActionstep database. The most common cause of a data breach is the exploitation of a lost or weak password. With Actionstep’s 2-step authentication a user needs opportunistic hackers need more than just your username and password to be able to access your account. Moving to Enhanced Billing Mode
If your firm is not ready to start using the new EBM features yet , you can still switch over to EA and just turn on EBM when you’re ready.
The upgrade is completely free , and almost nearly instantaneous, but we do recommend that all users are logged out during the change.
Going forward, patches and improvements will only be made to the EA version of Actionstep, so we highly recommend upgrading to get for the best experience.
