For now quick codes are abbreviations that you may use for quick data entry but these will be expanded to include associated GL accounts for certain types of entries. Additionally, we will use it for a means to summarize transactions by quick code category.

Quick-codes can be accessed in Admin > Timekeeping > Quick-codes *Quick-codes replace Activity types. Upon moving to EBM, all activity types are converted to quick-codes. |

Here, a code can be entered that will appear in the Quick-code dropdown on entry forms. The text entered in the long description will populate the descriptions or memos in those forms. The area(s) where this code will appear as an option can be customize by checking the boxes of the applicable area(s).
