You can define some system-wide abbreviations for commonly used phrases in your time sheets and file notes. By typing the abbreviation the system will automatically expand the text when you hit the spacebar.

Tip

Abbreviations can be used when entering Time Records, Disbursements, File Notes, and Scratchpad Notes

Typical examples:

CCB = Call client back

FUR = Follow-up required

DD = Document drafting

Setting up Abbreviations

To setup the abbreviations go to Admin > Timekeeping > Abbreviations

Personal Abbreviations

You are also able to set up login specific abbreviations. These will replace timekeeping abbreviations if they have the same letters.

Select 'New Record' to enter in your abbreviation and expanded text before saving.
