Tips for ease of use

We recommend the following for an easy use of the ActionStep Xero integration.

  • While multiple staff may have the ability to create an invoice, we encourage that not all have the ability to save the invoice – thus allowing for strict approval of the invoice prior to posting.
  • If you are a firm where the client often comes back and will drive changes to the invoice, it's a good idea to leave the invoices in a Draft format for a few days.
  • If you are only using the integration for Client Invoices and not for Purchases, the Chart of Accounts can be edited to not show the accounts not required. The menus can also be adjusted to reflect this.
