Where to find the information
The Sales and Purchase screens from Accounting are replicated within an Action and can be accessed from both places (permission based). Click here to learn move about the options under eachsee our user guide here: Sale / Purchase Menu bars
If you are looking at a Billing or Expense menu bar from within an Action, you will see the transactions for that Action.

When deciding which option to use keep in mind the following
- Any transaction created in Action is the same transaction you will see in Accounting and it will always be attached to an Action.
- Transactions created from Accounting do not necessarily have a tag back to the action (unless it is entered).
- Some of the menu information is different (no need to show the Action if you are in the action).
The difference between Billing and Expenses
These are also known as Receivables (Debtors) & Payables (Creditors)
- To view transactions relating to your Debtors Transactions you would use your "Sales" menu bar.
- To view transactions relating to your Payables Transactions you would use your "Purchases" menu bar.
- Reporting (and Statement) Functions are available in Accounting > Reports > Sales or Purchase.
The Main Transaction screen
When creating a transaction through Sales and Purchase, you are brought to a screen which is common through each transaction (with subtle differences).
We will refer to this as an "Invoice" but covers Sale and Purchase - Quote,Order,Invoice, Credit, Template
Once you have worked through your wizard whether within an Action or in Accounting, you will find yourself in this screen.
The Functionality
Please view this Sale and Purchase Screens and Functionality for explanation of this screen and navigation of functionality.
