Information sourced from the action/matter. These fields are common to all action/matter types. If you are wanting to add information that is particular to a certain action/matter type then look at one of the custom data options below (Multi-row custom data action or single row custom data action).

We have numbered a few of these in the screeenshots below to show their placement in an action/matter.

Action/Matter Name - The name that you give a matter. (1)

Action/Matter Type - Your system can have any number of different action/matter types these are the workflows that you have created. (2)

Action/Matter ID - The individual number that is given to each matter that you create in your system. (3)

File Reference - The number or text string that you can assign to a action/matter. (4)

Assigned to - Who the action/matter is assigned to. (5)

Priority - The priority number that you have given to a matter. (6)

Date Created - The date that the matter was first created. (7)

Date Updated - The date that the last change was made to this matter. (8)

External Ref - External references only apply to action/matters that you have imported into Actionstep. If you have not imported any actions/matters then this will display a blank field.

Days since Last Activity - A count of the days since any person updated something in this action/matter.

Days since created - How long in days the action/matter has been open for.

Current Step - The step that the action matter is currently sitting on.

Division Name - The division that this matter is assigned to. If you do not have more than one division in your database then this will show as your organization name.

Status - Whether the ticket is Active, inactive, closed or template.

Date Closed - If the action/matter has been closed then this will show the date that it was closed on (it will show a blank result if the action/matter is still open.

Date moved to Current Step - The date that the action/matter last moved to the step it was currently on.

Days on Current Step - a count of the days since the action/matter moved a step

Net Profit - The profit earned from this matter. This will look at the general ledger entries for income vs  Expenses that are linked to the action/matter.

Last User File Note Text - A copy of the most recently entered file note for this action/matter. This will display as much as will appear in the column in the list. If the file note is larger than this space users can still view the fill file note by hovering the cursor over the appropriate cell in the list to expand it.
