Introduction

Enhanced Billing Mode (EBM) offers a broad range of new features and enhancements to Actionstep’s billing and reporting functionality.

The ‘Phase 1’ release of EBM is now available to new and existing users, with new features being added incrementally over coming months.

Before you upgrade your existing Actionstep system, we recommend that you request a free trial of Enhanced Billing Mode to ensure it suits all your requirements, and talk to one of our staff or Certified Consultants if you have any questions.

  • Consolidated Billing - Consolidated Billing is not yet available, and any previous work-arounds will not work in EBMBills can be consolidated into one though currently the invoice will not separate items by matter.

  • Bill Settings - It is recommended that you configure the billing settings of each active matter after upgrading to EBMNo Foreign Exchange Billing - Foreign Exchange Billing is not yet available, and many previous work-arounds may not work in EBM without configuring the matter bill settings
  • LEDES/E-Billing - We are in the process of completing this feature so we do not recommend using it just yet.
