Useful information about Actionstep Trust Accounting

Jurisdictional Plugins

Because each trust accounting jurisdiction has different rules Actionstep has a preconfigured "plugin" for the jurisdiction you fall under. The plugin modifies the behaviour of the system to ensure compliance with your jurisdiction. Using Plugins allows us to update the code for all users on that plug in as required eg: Parts of Australia have had a recent upgrade to their rules; while we have developed to these new rules for the current release, changes may come later and we'll be able to track down the users it affects and update.

You can learn more about some specific trust jurisdiction plugins and their restrictions on Notes regarding specific Jurisdictional plug-ins

Menus

Most of the Trust Transactions can be completed using the main Trust Menu at the top of the page. Transactions can also be processed individually within a Matter.
