If you wish to reference details of the document itself you can use the following merge fields:

Merge FieldDescription
Document_IDThe individual identifucation number assigned by Actionstep to your document.
Document_NameDocument name as shown in Actionstep e.g. "Engagement Letter"
Document_FilenameDocument name with the file extension e.g. engagement_letter.docx
Document_DateThe user-editable date associated with the document
Document_LastModifiedDateWhen it was last modified in Actionstep
Document_CreatedDateWhen it was first created or uploaded in Actionstep
Note these fields only work for action templates and not for accounting or email templates.
