A write off allows you to reduce accounts receivable balances on outstanding invoices.  Use this function when you don't think a client will pay their bill and you need to write off the bill.  



This screen works much the same way as a client receipt but simply reduces accounts receivable.

You can also use this function to change the fee allocation between attorneys by clicking the pencil icon which will provide you a screen where fee allocation can be changed


A write off report is also available to show you complete details of write offs.
