Overview

Many useful resources are readily accessible from within Actionstep via the Help menu.

To access Help, select the “Help” button on the top-right of the screen in your Actionstep system and select an option.

The Actionstep Help Center is a powerful resource for you and your firm.  In fact, most questions that you may have while working in Actionstep are probably answered here.   

The Home screen of the Help center is broken into two pieces; on top we have our global search bar, and on bottom we have categories of articles.  The Global Search Bar will be visible regardless of what page of the Help Center you are on and is best used in situations where you know specifically what you want to learn about. The article categories can be used if you want to learn about a topic more broadly and drill down.

The Global Search Bar 

To use the Global Search Bar, simply click into the field and type any relevant terms for your search.  Just hit “Enter” on your keyboard to do a full search. Articles matching your search terms will appear onscreen and you can scan through each result until you find what you’re looking for, using the numbers at the bottom to navigate through multiple pages if your search returned a large number of results. 

Article Categories 

To use the article categories, simply navigate to the Help Center home page by clicking the Actionstep logo in the top left, then click on the category that you would like to learn more about.  You will be directed to another page with a list of sub-categories related to that topic, and each sub-category will have a list of articles to read.  If there are a lot of articles in a sub-category, you may see a link at the bottom of that sub-category to see all the articles. 

Contact support 

This option opens a screen to submit a new request to the Actionstep support team.  

Watch webinars 

This option opens the Actionstep Events page, Events | Actionstep   

Here, you can watch past webinars on various topics or register for upcoming live sessions. 

Explore integrations and add-ons 

This option opens the Actionstep Integrations page, Integrations | Actionstep   

Here, you access the many integrations and add-ons for your Actionstep system.
